The Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) team's primary logo has a rich and storied history that spans several decades. The logo features a bold and powerful wave crashing against a sandy shore and has become synonymous with the CAA and its teams. The logo was first introduced in 1976 when the association was founded and has since undergone several iterations to reflect the changing times and the evolution of the CAA.

One of the most significant changes to the CAA team's primary logo occurred in 1995 when the association decided to update its branding to better reflect the modern era of sports. The new logo featured a sleeker, more stylized wave with sharper edges and a more dynamic design. This change was met with mixed reactions from fans, with some embracing the new look and others lamenting the departure from the traditional logo. However, the new logo proved to be a success, and it has remained the primary logo for the CAA ever since.

In recent years, the CAA team's primary logo has undergone minor updates to keep up with the ever-changing landscape of sports branding. In 2010, the logo was given a more 3D effect, with shading and highlights added to give it a more modern and dynamic look. Adding the association's name in bold and prominent letters also helped solidify the logo as the official symbol of the CAA. Today, the CAA team's primary logo continues to be a source of pride for fans and players alike, representing the strength, determination, and passion of the Coastal Athletic Association.
